I spent the bulk of the past day disassembling and fiddling with each component of the gun separately, and after cleaning out the oil/lube/grease residues it is clear to me that the machining on the surface of the components is nothing short of exemplary. There isn't a single thing here that I would bring into question, even the small amount of adhesive residue on the rail perpendicular to the disconnector plate is fine with me, that rail piece is actually a separate part in their assembly process, it gets stuck and glued onto the frame so that it can subsequently be replaced more easily upon a significant amount of wear (they provided me with a spare piece as well). The breechface looks just fine, both the finishing and the perfectly circular firing pin hole.... By far the most surprising and unusual part is the guiding rod plug - a true unicorn shape (with a crown), that I have never seen before despite handling a good number of 1911s........ Let me know if you happen to have any other observations! Cheers, Filip
