But I'm not sure how they fail to add context to a particular nation's exposure to civilian firearm ownership? Anyhow, if at any point in time I am approached by the forum proprietors and told to stop sharing and promoting firearm related content I will dutifully oblige. I simply feel that won't happen foreseeably, or as long as the current ownership remains intact, as you can see for yourself firearm related posts (mine or otherwise) draw in a relatively massive amount of views and interest which is always good for a web platform like this one.... Still, the number of posts pertaining to firearms pales in comparison to the number of posts pertaining to watches, transportation products, photography, and other Epicurean delights

That bolt isn't decorative and serves a very significant purpose - it is one of the attachment points bolting the grip to the frame since they are two seperate parts. Also, I called myself the village idiot, I would never insult someone of your pedigree
No misreading, the trigger bow is an actual part of the trigger, the gaurd is a part of the frame. Those aren't interchangeable terms. Keep digging!

I spent the bulk of the past day disassembling and fiddling with each component of the gun separately, and after cleaning out the oil/lube/grease residues it is clear to me that the machining on the surface of the components is nothing short of exemplary....
My understanding....
Despite not yet having the opportunity to visit the factory in Texas myself is that each and every component is CNC machined from billet aluminum and subsequently finished and fitted by hand.... That's where the bulk of the $6-9K cost for these guns comes...
So, what is it succinctly that you specifically....
look for, and are willing to pay a premium for to get it on a custom built pistol??

really aluminium or did I mis-read it? If they are, I'm very surprised for one obvious reasons: its weight doesn't suit the recoil of the 1911A1 (Newton's 3rd Law) - it's just too light for a heavy-recoiling gun.
