Hello dear Art and friends ! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Ferrari has a particular aura around it. It’s difficult to pin down exactly what the magic is but the Italian passion for building beautiful racing cars and winning races is exception...  

Both Ferrari and Porsche being truly storied brands in that respect. Great shots and watch pairings there. As for Fernando being faster than you, had the privilege of being driven by two F1 drivers and they are indeed a different breed. As was Ari Vatanen... 

Given the time this weekend, I would have loved the opportunity to say so much more about the past and particularly the Group B era of rallying. Maybe next time 😉

Ari was the only one I have been driven by but they are all amazing drivers. And it was an era I sadly didn’t get to experience live first time around 🤷🏻‍♂️

In all the years I've owned the Panerai 1033 GMT she has never kept accurate time. One day it could be ahead 30 seconds, the next 20 seconds behind. Been to Panerai Texas service of course, twice, still not a good timekeeper. But she does weigh you down. ...

Bob at Panerai Naples is a GREAT guy!!! i love their desk/table 8-day Panerai clock, it is used every night for years as my night time clock. It's also big, solid, and double as a hefty weapon. Hmmmm, Panerai being weaponry...... And they are cute, and ea...  

But rarely wear the same watch long enough for the accuracy to make any difference. And if that is for whatever reason important there’s a Grand Seiko quartz or Spring Drive movement to keep me sorted. The watches may fulfill many needs for us nowadays bu... 

My wife and i love the below timepiece. she'd have one, if my resources allowed. Rational? Perhaps not, and that is part if being human. 🥰
