First up is the Limelight Tonneau XXL with diamonds . . . . . . which evokes images of Cary Grant in "To Catch a Thief" . . . suave and elegant....

Very elegant! This type of watch is not my taste (too much jewelry, too little time-telling), but it is charming nonetheless. What about pictures of the Altiplano and Double Jeu? *hands clasping expectantly* I'm sorry I missed out on the fun yesterday! I have no doubt ...

Your presence was missed, Daos . . . . . . and one of our guests brought a family member who had no interest at all in watches, but had a good time nevertheless! See you soon, Art

Emperadors with diamonds . . . . . . and your choice of either date display or a seconds subdial with power reserve. Both of these are in rose gold, but I'm told that other varieties are available. This message has been edited by MTF on 2009-07-26 15:35:35...

A pleasing square design . . . . . . which, in my humble opinion, is amongst the most difficult to pull off successfully: This Altiplano encompasses a few design elements that defuses the usually high level of aesthetic tension a square design imparts; the wide case-to-dial proportions...

I believe wmclarenf1 has more than a passing interest in . . . . . . this model, the openworked Altiplano . . . . . . and I can see why, as the engraved angular pattern and open view into the movement adds a touch of masculinity to the design....

Facinating Both the location and the design of the cut-out barrel remind me of the elements in the Chopard LUC Tourbillon Is there a similar piece with an automatic movement? A

I don't think there's an automatic equivalent, Aaron . . . . . . afaik, this is a special edition expressly for the boutiques. Reading between the lines, are you anticipating a version with a self-winding movement in regular production? Just curious, Art

hmm,,,,automatic Altiplano...fenestrated or not.... Gents, Interesting sub-thread. Current Piaget automatic movement dimensions are: 500P family Group 1: 20.5 mm diameter x 3.45 - 5.1 mm height, depending on functions. 504P family Group 2: 24.6 mm diameter x 3.55mm height, depending on functions. 800P fami...

Dear Piaget forumners, This is an unabashedly Lifestyle Aspirational video of most of the PIAGET Polo range of watches. It makes reference to the jet-set origins of the PIAGET Polo. It is not meant to showcase the movements. I think it touches on the possibilities in the PIAGET Polo lines available.
