In anticipation of tomorrow's opening of SIHH...

a few shots of a masterpiece of the Hommage collection, the centrepiece of tomorrow's attention! This one is a white gold flying tourbillon with power reserve: and a

For me of special appeal is the very dramatic yet subtly coloured mother-of-pearl dial:

It has a great depth and really adds a well defined amount of spice to the face of the watch. It can be however almost 'mean' if the right (i.e. harsh) light hits it (very important if you want to get some attention with a tourbillon in your neighbourhood…):

Overall a very lively interpretation of RD's most important (=defining) collection.

We shall see much more as of tomorrow, and I promise you a lot of additional spice!
