On the 8 March, Roger Dubuis presented their 2012 Collection to the press members in Singapore after the previous exciting IWC day.
Venue, was at the posh Presidential Suite of the Fullerton Hotel.

Interesting sapphire crystal construction and case design ...Pulsion Chronograph in titanium with automatic chronograph movement RD680 with micro-rotor and power reserve of 52 hours beating at 4 Hz.
Watch is also has double certifications - COSC and Geneva Seal.
What is marvelous with that crystal construction, the case water-resistance rating is at high 10 bar!
Case - titanium, 44mm diameter.
The sapphire crystal is also both sides anti-reflective coated. Superb clarity !!

RD really owns the shape! From a distance, a LA Monegasque could be recognised!
With handwound movement RD540, beating at 3Hz and a power reserve of 60 hours. Limited to 188 pieces.

Thanks for the report... Have to admit every time I look at the Pulsion, I can't help but wondering how they achieve the water resistance on that bezel/case assembly.

“More than just a traditional watch manufacture, ROGER DUBUIS is the reflection of a space spilling over with creative ideas.” (From: RD press kit) Roger Dubuis founded in 1995 is still a “young” company, even when there have been lots of changes in their history – changes of ownership, changes of collections, ups & downs …. Nonetheless all their (current) movements are in-house with Geneva Seal and they have more than 30 movements for usage (plus some more in the pipeline). Quite a lot I would say, for such a “young” company. Not only the company, their Associate Director for movement development, Gregory Bruttin, is young as well, but however he works in the company for more than 10 years and was ....
