The Venue....  Nice table setting as well as room setting.... (the room was dark, so I asked a few official photos from VC - thanks!).

It really was a nice evening for the Vacheron Constantin owners/ The Hour Club members.  It was also very nice meeting Alex in person finally here in Tokyo.

Thanks again, Mr. Ghotbi and Mr. Bernaz for coming from Switzerland.

And my sincere thanks to Mr. Gouget, CEO, and all the staff of Vacheron Constantin (Japan).

(Note: My apologies for having taken such a long time to post this. The event was held at the end of September).

Best,
Ken

I wish I could attend so as to get to interact with Japanese watch collectors, as I told Alex. But had to return home after the W&W. Maybe next time. Thanks for the post :) Melvin

Great report Ken No wristshoots of the attendees? So this event is more of a GTG than say a launching of models?

Although a committed V&C collector, this Charles Frodsham timepiece from 1869 proved too much to resist. To begin with, it is a minute repeater! Have a look, a sound clip is included at the end... Charles Frodsham was a celebrated English watch maker from the golden age of chronometry, along with Arnold, Earnshaw, Dent, et al. In fact, Frodsham purchased John Arnold's business in 1840 and, for a brief period, their watches were labelled "Arnold & Frodsham".
