The Patrimony Tradtionnelle Open- Worked Skeleton!
To me, this is truely THE Masterpiece of the year, among all the VC novelties this year.
The Chronos, simple or Perpetual Calendars, are cool, but too classic, too wise, IMO, and too big.
The 1921 was a reveletion for me, but compared to the awesome work made by VC with this Patrimony open - worked Skeleton, it is a step above, in terms of finish, and price, as well.
With the Patrimony Skeleton, you are in another dimension of perfection, of true VC DNA and spirit.
You're between Art and Horology, better, you have both!
The Extra Thin Cal 1120 ( only 2, 45 mm !) is housed in a very elegant and peefectly proportionned 38mm White Gold Case.
Even if, like the Chronos, I would have preferred to see the lugs of the Malte Line, I have to say that the outcome is really awesome.
I spent a lot of time contemplating this Beauty, admiring it, and totally loosing the notion of time, which is a very good sign. LOL
Here, the watch under different angles, to focus on the sober and efficient shape of the case:
The Back, also , is to admire.
for an automatic movement, this is awesome!
The work on each part of the movement is highy finished and worked, even the Rotor, which is a real sculpture.
If you want to get the full interest of this piece of Art, you have to put it on its side, like that:

*
The dial is a gorgeous play of light and transparency.
And, as every exceptionnal watch, it will be able to survive to the Macro Test without problems:
In the Family of " simple " Time keepers coming with a skeleton dial, to me this VC is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, with the AP RO I recently saw in Paris:
Don't you notice that the movements look similar?
To wear it is a big pleasure, indeed.
The only problem is that if you have a hairy wrist like mine, you can see your wrist through the dial...
But it was an unique experience!
Hope you shared my joy and excitement on this watch.
Best.
Nicolas
