Carole Forestier-Kasapi has just won the Best Watchmaker Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2012. This is strong recognition for the superb work Carole has done, both in her current capacity as Head of Technical Development at Cartier as well as in her earlier career.

Especially notable is that is the first time the Best Watchmaker Prize has gone to a watchmaker at a major brand, rather than an independent. Past winners have included great watchmaking minds like Jean-François Mojon, Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, Vianney Halter and Anthony Randall.
Congrats Carole!
