Grand lange 1 black for me... The PC double split is a failure
on a visual point of view. Nice moon phase but that's it. The dial has nothing really attractive. Maybe if they'd put the big date below "12". Don't know, just nothing really special about that dial, and it feels overcharged, but in a cold way. If only we could put that moonphase on the dato PC with the power reserve of the up/down, we'd have a real winner.
The grand lange 1 feels like the real winner... and buyable!

that is not ready - the Grand (or shall we call it Huge ) Complication ? Was it 50mm?! Would have been impressed if it would be wearable. The 1815 Rattrapante PC looks interesting - at least from what I could see in the showcase outside the booth.
SIHH is a trade show...
They are showing products to dealers, primarily (yes there is some public press, but that isn't the focus). I can see the rationale of showing a work in progress, in that context. Hopefully it won't take 4 years to finish, a la the JLC Mega Sonnerie.

Doing something like that, is really damaging the image for me. It reminds me JLC which is quite bad when you want to compete with Patek or Vacheron. That said, I think Lange had a good SIHH overall with nice novelties. cheers Francois
