Your explanation of the rationale behind presenting the GC is very sound and I agree Fx.
My question now is how the Lange team will decide who the lucky 6 will be (and in which order?)
Frequent posters here have stated before that Lange does not play the 'games' that other heavy hitting brands play with ultra-complicated pieces and selecting buyers; but here it seems unavoidable..

They are showing products to dealers, primarily (yes there is some public press, but that isn't the focus). I can see the rationale of showing a work in progress, in that context. Hopefully it won't take 4 years to finish, a la the JLC Mega Sonnerie.

choosing 6 collectors. I feel for the people in charge of this for sure. Even the 200, 100, 30 and 15 piece LE's were hard I am sure. 6 people?!?!?! That will be very difficult. What a great position for Lange to have more than 6 that will spend that kind...
