To be honest, the integration of the strap is definitely a no-go for me.
I do believe that Lange stretched it a bit integrating the bracelet on the steel version, which was not necessary in my opinion. I would have preferred a sporty steel version with bracelet, but I still don't see the need to "integrate" the bracelet, which actually looks a bit artificial on the Odysseus, compared to the "competitors".
That said, I still like the steel Odysseus and love many things about it, and would love to own one in the future.
But with the WG version and the strap, it's definitely too much for my taste. Even if there is some practicality associated, it doesn't look right to me, unfortunately.
Btw, I'm talking based on pictures only, looking forward to see these watches in the flesh... one day.

There are a lot of pros and cons of this watch. But... all I just want the 1815 40 mm in white gold. A simple time only watch that is large, handsome, well finished, fun to wind, and so on. That's all I want from the super-brand Lange.
Sadly no longer exists as a new watch anymore. Model 233.026 has been replaced by 235.026 which is 38.5mm and not 40mm.
The RL is definitely a nice piece, but I'm looking for a petite seconds.
