Breguet

Other than reduced cost, I don’t see the appeal of the new dial.

The original had 4 types of guilloche: main dial, outer dial, seconds, and moonphase. The new dial only has two types of guilloche, with the awkwardly printed seconds markings and no guilloche for the moonphase cutout.

It will be interesting to see if they keep making the original dials or switch over to the new one. I understand a desire for a more modern interpretation, but I think this just looks bad.

The strap system is nice, with a substantial increase in price for that model. The prior model used Roman numerals, I do think this dial will have broader appeal while retaining the integrity of Breguet design.
