Regarding the price, when it was still around €40,000 in 2021, I found it quite reasonable for what is offered: enamel dial, jumping hour complication, COSC caliber with 8 days of power reserve, and Hallmark of Geneva. I don't think VC or PP would have ever sold such a watch at such a price. But now the price has climbed to €55,600, and that's really excessive, in my opinion: it's the kind of price charged by Richemont or Patek. So I wouldn't buy this watch today.
I would like to emphasize that this watch possesses a musical quality that is truly enchanting, and one of its greatest qualities: the hourly click of the jumping hour disc, which can be heard distinctly in a quiet environment, is a real pleasure. It's almost like a "passing chime", but more discreet. I've always been drawn to the Strike One, another beautiful LUC, but I know I should leave it silent most of the time, whereas the jumping hour doesn't need to be muted.
Finally, regarding the variants, my favorite remains the original version, with its rose gold case and white dial. I tried on the white gold/black dial version, and it's absolutely wonderful for those who don't like colored gold or are simply looking for a cooler/darker look. Personally, I prefer the warmer, brighter tones of the one I own.
