For me, the desire to own a "perfect/flawless" watch that I will keep for the rest of life
We know there is no such a watch, but my heart keep believing there is. I also want multiple watches that suites different conditions : 2 daily watches, 2 dress watches, 2 casual watches, and 1 diver.
Have bought and sold many watches, I feel my taste is going mature, that is, taste for smaller, 35-39 mm, classic but durable enough for daily wear.
I have reached what I think 90% of my goals, and now I'm searching for a steel, sport with integrated bracelet, that suites my budget.
What inspires you to buy another watch?

At this point it’s probably driven by a desire to curate a “better” collection.
At this point I should be swapping incomings with outgoings, I’m trying to get to this point but struggling a little. To the extent that the collection continues to grow its really a failure of being able to do what I mentioned above.
It is a complicated thing. The most important for me is I love to look at watches and handle them.
