Sad news, indeed
My deepest condolences to his loved ones.
His contributions were part of what made this community a wonderful place to visit - he was a great pillar of this community. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his thoughts and musings, which showed a love for life and a generosity with his knowledge. He leaves, at least for all of us here (and I am sure on the many lives he touched), a wonderful legacy.
Wishing his loved ones stength and fortitude during this difficult time.

I only knew Captain Scarlet through our exchanges here, but his presence and kindness always stood out. A wonderful contributor and a great judge in the wrist scans. There was a quiet authenticity in the way he wrote - perceptive and always worth reading....
