Yes and I agree with FPJ to an extent. At these prices why is there not some innovation? With the FPJ and PP etc. at least you are getting innovation, complications, storied history stability and value. How is this orders of magnitude better and more valuable than other independents or traditional brands? With a Berneron - for example - they have a unique case and dial design and movement to fit - not to mention using precious metals. I liked Pages, but this is a turn off. How exactly is this finish and craft higher horology than others? Is this even 100% hand created and finished with all parts in house?

There are some good buys out there from the Independents
Personally, in this instance I see Mr. Pages trying to find equilibrium. The price does seem high but what is the point of pricing the watch so well that he finds himself with a 5-10 year waitlist? That doesn't sound ideal either.
