If I remember correctly Mr. Dufour also explicitly has design elements and decoration elements that are typical from the la Vallée du Joux watchmaking tradition in his watches. As JLC is and has been one of the major manufacturers in just this region it would be very hard for Mr. Dufour's work not to end up having elements looking at least a little like something from JLC.
