I have great respect for Roger Smith
his dedication to horology, his willingness to work hard, his willingness to work with George Daniels. Personally I find him to be more humble and sincere than some make him out to be.
I do wish his watches were thinner - the watches seem thicker than they need to be - I'm reminded of old Garrard turntables I used to rework which were behemouths, so maybe it's a British thing. And I've never warmed to his hands - they too seem overly thick somehow, but I will admit I've not been a big fan of spade hands of any dimension.
