The pics sure make it look more like a 42/43mm than the 39mm advertised. As pictured, it almost looks too big and busy too quite work for me. I'm so close to loving it, but it's just off a little.

Whether one prefers the lacquered ivory dial or the charming blue, the Breguet numerals IMO bring this watch to the highest aesthetic level of current Patek perpetuals. And at 39mm, quite slim and housing the legendary 240Q movement, what’s there not to l...

Brequet numerals ! 👍 For me, the dial is a bit too busy 😅 but that is just my 2 cents

the Breguet numerals would be wonderful without the PC sub registers. And with these sub registers, baton indexes would let the dial breath much more freely. Have a nice weekend. Best, Emmanuel

Yes, the Breguet numbers are the reason behind why Patek did enlarge the diameter without changing the movement. Should you need baton indices, it would be better to look at Patek 5140, especially the blue one in platinum. Besides, Patek 5550P is another ...

Just imagine they used the original/smaller font on these versions. Then more room on the subdials and no squished 27-5 in the date dial. Would have been perfect for my taste 😁

What went wrong here is the thinner bezel.. thus it makes the watch look disproportionately large.. it happened to the 1815 too, when ALS reduced the size from 40 to 38.5.. Thinning out the bezel can really ruin the look in my opinion. Another gripe is th...

...when they made the case bigger but kept the smaller movement, they needed to get creative by 'hiding' it with Breguet numerals around the outside of the dial. It has never looked as cohesive as a 3940 or even 5140 to me...

I find it quite strange how this reference makes me feel because on paper everything seems right and, as you say, one wants to love it, but something feels odd nonetheless. And it definitely has something to do with the case being too large for the calibe... 

They had me at the breguet numerals. I love the leaf hands and hollow lugs. And the size is more modern. The WG blue dial one is my favorite.

I personally keep oscillating between ‘I love it’ and ‘it feels a bit odd’. I think trying a full set of Breguet numerals (except the 6) was a good idea, but the dial feels a bit crowded and the case a bit large. I would really need to see it in real life...

What is the general consensus of this vs 3940? I love the design of 3940 but it feels a bit small. This is better proportioned and still carries some classic design.🙏🙏🙏

whereas the 5327 has only no 6: the case being larger, the dial can and does include a 3 and a 9. As for the 5740, I suspect that its dial aperture is quite smaller, the bezel being large, than the one of the 5327, which has a thin bezel. So, for me, when...

But in my eyes the 5327 is oversized and a bit out of proportion. Only 3940, 5040 and 5940 have a date ring with similar sized numerals. But only the date numerals of the 5940 have this beautiful romantic typeface. In combination with the breguet hour num...
