Some love this 5327 because of the Breguet numerals
and of the scalloped lugs of the case, but many find the 39 mm too large for the 240 caliber and consider including Breguet numerals was a way of hiding this gap between the movement and the case. Having not had the chance to try it on, I don’t know how I would feel, but having a wrist on the smaller side, the 3940 would probably fit me better.

The pics sure make it look more like a 42/43mm than the 39mm advertised. As pictured, it almost looks too big and busy too quite work for me. I'm so close to loving it, but it's just off a little.

Emmanuel, thanks for your post on this not so popular but I think beautiful reference. For me it has a much more interesting case and dial than 3940/5140.

It has full of Patek DNA, but no one looks at it… Shame!
I indeed blame myself for having paid insufficient attention to this model.

I think you point exactly what bothers me:

I wanted to love this, but the proportions are off...
...when they made the case bigger but kept the smaller movement, they needed to get creative by 'hiding' it with Breguet numerals around the outside of the dial. It has never looked as cohesive as a 3940 or even 5140 to me...

They had me at the breguet numerals. I love the leaf hands and hollow lugs. And the size is more modern. The WG blue dial one is my favorite.

I personally keep oscillating between ‘I love it’ and ‘it feels a bit odd’. I think trying a full set of Breguet numerals (except the 6) was a good idea, but the dial feels a bit crowded and the case a bit large. I would really need to see it in real life...
