Patek Philippe

Capacity to produce more = spiral downward?

I'm not following the comments in these posts.  What do you people really like about Patek - the quality or the appreciation?

If you think of it like a car, it starts depreciating the moment you drive it off the lot.  If you don't like that, don't buy a new car.  Plain and simple.

he new in-house movement is beautiful - certainly finished to the highest level.  So, now we are faulting the movement because it is in-house and therefore can be made in high quantity?  Styling and design - that's a different questions.  But I never knew I would see the day when an in-house movement was a negative attribute of a watch.

I think some of the posters here need to re-evaluate.  Are you watch lovers or investors?
