Not sure about the example ...
because at least in one case a (so called) in-house movement from Panerai, comes in fact from Piaget.
I liked the new watch a lot and was close to buy my first Panerai, until I saw the movement in detail.
Panerai was so proud about there novelty ... Nothing is wrong with a movement from Piaget, because some of them are gorgeous -
if you are in the market for a very slim watch. The latter doesn´t fit to a "sporty/casual" Panerai.
On top I hate to be deluded.
Do you think Patek would ever try to sell you an in-house movement, which isn´t? Never ever!
