watch is the same, even if some are selling at lower. The real question is, do you love it or not? You talk about batches being produced, its not new, as always, Patek throw them at the market, its available in several place, sometimes at a discount. Then after a while, if you look for one, you won't find it, or if you do, its a list plus a premium.
Don't let the price issue bother you, in the end, it matters only if you want to sell it.

In fact the issue here is that i like a brand protecting it's customers and i was used to have this image from Patek the rarity was a part of the beauty It is a very nice watch and i enjoy it but i would be happier if it was not sold below official retail...

5270G is perfect
I bought my 5270G late November 2011 at full msrp. I love it and if I was offered a return for full money I wouldn't take it! My 5970P has been very lonely since the 5270G arrived.
