Patek Philippe

Dear Rishi, it's a wonderful choice you have to make here.

Concerning the 5124, I've tried on the J variant only. It's a very nice watch and I think the G might be even more appealing.

That said, the case is a bit large for the 25-21 caliber: I think it looks better in the case of the 5098.

Also, I'm not very fond of the large 22 mm lug width: I prefer narrower lug width (20 or even 19 mm).

During the same session, I tried on the 5100J and I liked it much better.

I've never seen a 5026 in real life, but it seems very beautiful and the case is very well proportioned to the 240 PS automatic caliber. And the lug width is 19 mm.

Of course, you already have a rose gold watch (5098R) and you might want to change for a white metal. But the 5026R would also provide some change in its own way: an automatic caliber and a round case.

So it all depends on what's most important for you: new (white) metal? new caliber (automatic rather than hand-wound) and (round) shape? salmon dial? black dial? Breguet hands? Leaf hands?

Anyway, both are a very good choice, no doubt about it.

I'm looking forward to discovering your final choice and admiring your photos!

I wish you the best for this tough choice!

Best, Emmanuel
