A nautilus has become my daily wearer but out of then my 5712 seems to be most comfortable and versatile.

Agree with all the above.............go with a Nautilus or Aquanaut. Or possibly a pre owned Calatrava date, such as the 5107 or 5127

I love my 5980 blue dial, perfect watch for casual occasions and together with original cufflinks for suit as well!

And because its a modern classic, in ten years plus, it will still be a very cool Watch

I should say 5712 in steel, that would be the most practical choice with some nice complications. But my heart says 5712 in rose gold with the brown croco strap. Not overly thick but very waterproof with a 'sex on a stick' appeal. Manual wind lacks the co... 

than the other watches you currently own and smaller than the pieces others have recommended. If the size of the 3796 is not an issue, it is a great everyday watch. I like the fact that the case lugs are not attached as they are with the 3919 and the 3802... 

Or the 5119 if you want a bit more presence. But I fear the 5119 might be already too costly as you are saying "not to break the bank". A well looked after 3919 is on the secondary market an affordable piece to get. Regards Moritz
