Yes, all those Genta watches had some hexagon or octagon mixed into them!
Personally, I'm not that crazy about high beat. I'd rather have a slightly slower beat and a bigger balance wheel. The logic being a bigger balance wheel has more inertia and is harder to shock, the only detriment is that if you do shock the watch, the slower beat takes a longer time to recover from the shock and gain accuracy back. Plus, lubricants would last even longer! But that's just me.
If I were kickboxing with the watch on, I'd want a very high beat. If I were living a pedantic life, then a slower beat in silicon makes sense to me!
