After 4 years of driving one on a daily basis I can assure you that it out drives ICE cars comfort/speed wise (normal use).
Just to be clear: I sadly do not own stocks (no more).
Build quality inside (and some components) compared with Audi / Mercedes: not there yet. But the chassis is super strong and for a car that weight it drives really good. Also in corners. It’s also very safe as the crumbling zones are immense. And it won’t rust ;-)
I am/was a real petrol head, but you won’t see me in an ICE car anymore (as a daily).
No kidding, my main concern is to know if Tesla will still exist after 2020. This company burns cash as quickly as its cars which is an issue for a potential buyer in my opinion

For everyday use, I’m sure there’s no issue with a Tesla if you live in a big city (so many Tesla cabs here in Geneva). I’m much more worried about a long trip ( 700km) with such a car.

The standard Tesla will keep that acceleration up to 120 km/h and after that slow down immensly. This Tesla Roadster will also slow down beyond 160 km per hour or will not have the same elasticity of the Chiron on the top end, from let us say 200 km per h...
