I have to be careful in how I say this. I want the electric car to do well. I want the environment to be better. I agree that pollution is causing global warming.
But...
I've seen Tesla Model X vehicles where the plastic trim on the fenders were too tight in some areas and too loose in other areas, which made the line between the black plastic and the painted fender seem very odd.
Also, the paint quality on some Tesla vehicles were clearly missing clearcoat in some areas. Particularly the edges of some door panels.
I'm definitely wishing all the best for Tesla. The car factory is in the town I live in. But, I wished they wouldn't rush their cars.
No kidding, my main concern is to know if Tesla will still exist after 2020. This company burns cash as quickly as its cars which is an issue for a potential buyer in my opinion

For everyday use, I’m sure there’s no issue with a Tesla if you live in a big city (so many Tesla cabs here in Geneva). I’m much more worried about a long trip ( 700km) with such a car.

The standard Tesla will keep that acceleration up to 120 km/h and after that slow down immensly. This Tesla Roadster will also slow down beyond 160 km per hour or will not have the same elasticity of the Chiron on the top end, from let us say 200 km per h...
