Controversy

I guess I had heard that there was some "controversy" regarding the movement.  Actually what's inside is important to me, but I am not so concerned that it is a rectangular version of the 215 (if that is true), but I do wonder about the difference in the movements between the 5098 and the 5124G.  The former has the 25-21 REC and the latter the 25-21 REC PS.  The latter movement has the additional sub seconds indication, but is the movement finished better on the 5124G than it is on the 5098P --  enough to justify the extreme difference in the cost for the two watches? I have a hard time believing that the platinum case explains such a large price differential, especially when you consider that the 25-21 REC PS would appear to be a more complicated movement.  Is it that the 5098 is chronometer? (At least I am assuming it is given its name.)
