I have a feeling that the 5098P is not for many diehard fans of Patek, which is probably why it appeals to me. To be honest, many of the PP designs do not do it for me evne though I respect the brand and admire their watches greatly. But for some reason, the 5098P really does cause an emotional response in me. But as you can see I am seeking wisdom and perspective from others who know the brand much better than I.

and I think the price for the Pt is pretty expensive compared to the gold version.
This model is not my cup of tea...................
