The 5098P is pretty expensive, even for platinum, especially when compared to its brother the 5124G, which is slightly less than half the price. And I wonder if anything special is done with the mvoement that is essentially the same in both watches.
As for size, is the 5098 really any smaller than the vast mah=jority of PP watches. It seems right in line with their other watches in terms of size.
