But this is likely to be not only be the first but also the only PP for me. The probelme for me, is that while I admire Patek Philippe for many reasons, I nonetheless find very few PP watches compelling, and the several that I do, with the excpetion of the 5098, are not a possibility for me right now.

I would advise you caution..... Go try on your options and do not rush your decision.... Having an idea of the ones you like you should also try the Nautilus line either steel or wg.... Another option would be 5124..... Enjoy the research and the options ...
