Maybe the PP tests are not the same as the COSC tests. And I'm glad they are not identical in fact.
In fact I see the COSC tests as much theoretical as the PP chronometric tests. Indeed the COSC tests are done only on calibres. The Patek Philippe chronometric tests are done with watches nearly ready to deliver, so there's nearly no intervention on the calibre then.
Patek Philppe does only simulation tests, that's true. But the COSC does only simulation tests too!
As for your last opinion I will let it to you as it is personal as you write, but please let me keep mine. The Seal as a communication tool is obviously also a marketing tool! But this is not just that, by far!
