I must confess I find the blue dial of the DD40 also very intriguing....
Yes, I have also tried the Sky Dweller. 
I'm not 100% sure about the dial. Although it fits very comfortably. In any case it should be with the metal bracelet.

But - at the moment- my heart beats more for the DD or Sub. Don't know why.

I absolutely love the Rolex DD on the first picture. And i would add a black or dark blue other watch with it, for contrast. If i were you, i would add the Rolex Submariner no-date with the black dial.

But I would upgrade to the Day-Date 40. Why? Because its the sharpest DD out there and it has got the perfect (mens) size. And I\'d choose the olive green dial. It looks fresh. I might even put that dial in my Day-Date some day! Have fun deciding! ...

If you can swing it, trade the silver dd36 for a dd40. You can do the awesome quadrant silver dial with Roman's. Now, get the TT blue sub and you have the lovely blue dial. That makes a great 2 watches.
