Since you contributed heavily to my decision, I find it normal that I try to impact your choice with my "hands-on" impressions.
Believe me, Thomas, if you buy the green dial, you will hardly put on another bracelet watch. Every day, when I have to choose which watch to wear, my hand instinctively picks up this one. I even tried to put on some others but I switched to it before leaving home. I I have three bracelet watches that I wear during summer, the green DD, a yellow gold VC Overseas and a Rolex Batman. I own the DD for three months now and I rarely wore another watch ever since. This is the perfect everyday watch for a gentlemen in his +forties.

I absolutely love the Rolex DD on the first picture. And i would add a black or dark blue other watch with it, for contrast. If i were you, i would add the Rolex Submariner no-date with the black dial.

But I would upgrade to the Day-Date 40. Why? Because its the sharpest DD out there and it has got the perfect (mens) size. And I\'d choose the olive green dial. It looks fresh. I might even put that dial in my Day-Date some day! Have fun deciding! ...

If you can swing it, trade the silver dd36 for a dd40. You can do the awesome quadrant silver dial with Roman's. Now, get the TT blue sub and you have the lovely blue dial. That makes a great 2 watches.
