From the specs they are both similar but the reason I went with the Cartier (apart from the love) is that it incorporated a lot of elements that is well known for Cartier lovers, the Roman numeral (looks amazing in lume) , blue cabochon stone and the first diving certified piece, along with Cartier's first in house movement all combined together in the final decision.

But I would upgrade to the Day-Date 40. Why? Because its the sharpest DD out there and it has got the perfect (mens) size. And I\'d choose the olive green dial. It looks fresh. I might even put that dial in my Day-Date some day! Have fun deciding! ...

If you can swing it, trade the silver dd36 for a dd40. You can do the awesome quadrant silver dial with Roman's. Now, get the TT blue sub and you have the lovely blue dial. That makes a great 2 watches.
