Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic Chronometer HF with Calibre 32A

Sold on behalf of original owner, a geophysicist

The watch will need a service

Please note that the plexi has a chip in it just left of the 12 o'clock marker and will need to be replaced during service

The watch is sold as is, with all that is included in the photos

Includes the original sales receipt from 2 September 1967 from Kurt Meier in Zurich as well as correspondence from 1968 between original owner and the Manufacture with regard the accuracy of the watch

Also includes all service papers from the Manufacture from 1976, 1983 and 1988

The watch was kept in a drawer by the original owner since the 1990s when he switched to a Quartz watch...and only rediscovered a few years ago !

The watch has great provenance, being in the possession of the original owner since he purchased it in Zurich on 2 September 1967
