Langeholic,
Thought provoking question.
Have fun!
I want to be clear about PuristSPro policy. We don't want to be the "zealot police".
There is always a "value" placed on our life decisions and denying that is abnormal.
But we don't want to become focused on monetary profit-loss.
We only frown on discussing "street prices" e.g. where to find discounts, goods falling off lorries and non authorised channels.
We can list official manufacturer prices but of course, with the usual warnings about local taxes and pricing may vary by country.
(In fact, manufacturers' recommended prices are only a minimum guide because dealers can charge whatever premium they want to.)
We have to use the official price list from manufacturer.
Our official prices are usually ex-Switzerland or Germany or Japan by the usual Haute Horlogerie manufacturer's location.
Auction prices are only a measure of the amount of lust vs. size of their wallet between the two last bidders. Auctions are also subject to market manipulations.
That is a different area with potential for "difficult moderatorship". I'm still thinking about a 'policy' so we will monitor on a case-by-case basis.

MTF
