Enjoying Austrian cuisine some more...

 

Autumn is a great culinary season in Austria, not only limited to geese. Here a selection of further (semi-) traditional offerings. Sometimes it doesn’t need to be extraordinarily exotic for the meal to be tasty 😋 


So here we go...

Starting with a black pudding carpaccio. This was a new combination but it works a treat, especially with liberal dosage of fresh horse radish (a must have with black pudding).



Continuing with a very traditional fried chicken with potato salad. Traditional Viennese at its best. 



And finished off with some apricot crepes. Loved those since childhood and they somehow never lose their appeal.
