I fully agree with all your points. They are exquisitely thought through and communicated.
There is no right or wrong. And when I say I prefer the case of the 5110/30, I am fully aware that this is so to these 38-year old eyes, with all my experiences in life, cultural, educational, aesthetical, etc. Hence you are spot on with your remarks.
I think that this is also the beauty of this forum, that we get the freedom to exchange views and opinions, so thaz we can hopefully each share his/her perspective and sometimes have a constructive input on others, or help them reinforce their differing views.
And I also need to thank you for your amazing posts, which always educate and help me learn more about my beloved passion of watches.

about the size of the pusher, my post was out of sequence and I was actually passing comment on the new 5230 having a larger button to advance the time zone - 5131R is unchanged.
Overall I like it a lot.
In particular the guilloche dial is beautifully done and I love the lugs. I am not yet convinced by the case - it does seem very angular from the photos, maybe it will feel less so in the metal.

is very similar to the 5396/5496 one. I found it a little "cold" in these latter references. On the contrary, with the new lugs and the beautiful dial I think it is the good modern that way (and not the cold one). But this is very personal and this is som...

I share your feelings about the proportions of the city ring and the dial.
And that is one of the attractions of the 5930 for me (apart from the addition of the chrono). The dial looks to be a better size.
