do think the revised cities are not as clearly differentiated as on previous 5110 and 5130 iterations, some names could be shortened as was previously done or possibly a very slightly smaller font?
This issue looks to be further highlighted on the revised 5131R where the design is now very cluttered and interestingly from studying the revised image on the Patek web site the circumference of the outer city ring of wording has been reduced slightly which has further cluttered the words - they have now made the circumference of the outer text ring match the slightly smaller size used on the new 5230 - possibly near to 1mm smaller circumference. The images are rendered illustrations that Patek has put on the web site so it might be different with an actual watch in the flesh.
The pusher for changing the time zone also looks to be standing both prouder and longer in length.

about the size of the pusher, my post was out of sequence and I was actually passing comment on the new 5230 having a larger button to advance the time zone - 5131R is unchanged.
Overall I like it a lot.
In particular the guilloche dial is beautifully done and I love the lugs. I am not yet convinced by the case - it does seem very angular from the photos, maybe it will feel less so in the metal.

I share your feelings about the proportions of the city ring and the dial.
