I'm eager to know if my first impressions are confirmed in the metal. Even for each novelties I would say but especially this one and the 5930 as they are brand new.
Sometimes it is also a question of smoothness of lines and finishing (the way edges are smooth or not etc...). This can give a very nice impression or make it less appealing if work not perfect.

about the size of the pusher, my post was out of sequence and I was actually passing comment on the new 5230 having a larger button to advance the time zone - 5131R is unchanged.
Overall I like it a lot.
In particular the guilloche dial is beautifully done and I love the lugs. I am not yet convinced by the case - it does seem very angular from the photos, maybe it will feel less so in the metal.

I share your feelings about the proportions of the city ring and the dial.
And that is one of the attractions of the 5930 for me (apart from the addition of the chrono). The dial looks to be a better size.
