I dont think it’s absurd
To wait so long hoping for something original and elegant from a top tier brand and be disappointed. I was disappointed by the design, the size of the case, the small round movement in a square case, lack of integrated crown for the complications (pushers required again) poor power reserve for these times, the nautilus dial and of course the price. So it’s not for me.
But of course it is just a watch, perhaps we have been spoiled by the wonderful watches over the years from Patek. Can’t expect them all to be perfect and for some the cubitus will be perfect and others will dislike. That’s fine by me. I have come to terms with much preferring Patek from 1940s to 00s. Happy to stick to vintage pieces! As always buy what you like and there is nothing wrong with giving your opinion especially if it’s constructive.

IMO, all watches need to be seen in the
metal before judgement can be passed ! Same for Cubitus. A friend who is in the watch biz was amazed on how good 5822P looked in the metal on his small wrist.

I think it’s a good thing for Patek that people
