I’ll reserve my final judgment on the design until I can try the watch on my wrist.
However, the features of this new line are also crucial to me, particularly in terms of value for money.
As a matter of fact we’re discussing a new watch line from one of the world’s top manufacturers, released in 2024 and not in the last century.
In my (humble and very personal) opinion, they could have done more: the new Patek Philippe Cubitus in platinum uses corrector buttons that create holes in the case. The simpler versions use the Caliber 26 from 2019, and the platinum version is based on the nearly 50-year-old Caliber 240. The movements are not shaped, have a weak power reserve by today’s standards (45 or 48 hours) etc.

IMO, all watches need to be seen in the
metal before judgement can be passed ! Same for Cubitus. A friend who is in the watch biz was amazed on how good 5822P looked in the metal on his small wrist.
