I think you should separate UTILITY from HOROLOGY.
I mean: Is it useful to have a mechanical watch which costs 10 000 Euros when you can read the time on a 50 Euros Quartz watch?
A small suggestion: If you don't get that, then it would be a pity to spend so much money on an expensive watch.
About the brand, I reassure you, I do not understand all about it.

and being beautifull is imo the most important when you buy a high end watch If it just needs to be usefull, a 100 euro quartz will do Now, about the complications ... I think a moonphase , a tourbillon and even a repeater are less usefull than a chronogr...

Utility is a function of the user as well as the tool. I use a chronograph many times a day to time the duration of tasks (phone calls, reviewing documents, writing reports, etc.) for billing purposes. There's no other complication that would be as useful...
