I have to buy from a Lange Boutique to be a Lange customer?

Lange is not a brand?  Lange stores care who actually walked into which store to buy their brand of watch?

You are right, I did not go to this boutique to buy my Langes.  I did so in various other Lange ADs around the world.  When I walked into this boutique the first time to take another Lange for service, they treated me like a client of Lange.  This is what matters, I'm a client of Lange.

You can call me what you wish and if this is your definition of whining so be it.  I'm not asking for a free strap, I'm asking them to make me a continued supporter and lover and promoter of a great brand by accepting a replacement of a strap I just purchased from them a few days ago.

Let me tell another story of mine in HK.  I bought my wife an Iphone 4s when it just came out.  I had to go to the Apple store in IFC and buy an entirely new contract just to get the phone at that time.  In less than 24 hours, my wife dropped the phone while they went running and cracked the entire screen.

Entirely our own fault.  I went back to the store fully expecting to pay half of the phone price to replace the screen.  After explaining to the person there what happened, he asked me how long I've had the phone.  To which I answered about 22 hours.  He looked at me, then the phone, and said "I'll just replace it.  It's not normal policy, but I'll do this once.".  My gosh... totally unexpected... my wife actually shed a tear in thanking him.  It's not the cost, it's the effort!

And that was the Apple store, mass consumer.  I told this to just about EVERYONE I could... totally blown away.  Now that is service!
