Plan on getting both, but go with the one which adds the most utility to your current collection.
I was in a similar situation in liking both the Zw and Langematik Perpetual, both case sizes were good and had complications which captivated me. In the end, I went with the watch which excited me most and would have the most staying power while starting to build the watch-fund for the next piece.
As you stated, there is nothing like the Zeitwerk

It depends on what you are for: Traditional = PC, or original and then, Zeitwerk.
I would go for the PC. Because I am not very fan of the digital display of time, which reminds me the good old electric clocks. ;)

Lange 1 MP? My advice is to get neither piece.

I must've just drew a blank that day. Moonphase! Thanks drgiggles! I agree, the two watches are very different from another. I personally prefer the ZW. But I have to admit, that it's not a watch that I can recommend without reservations to someone else.....

I'm curious, what are the specific Zeitwerk reliability problems that you've experienced or heard about? I did have an issue with the Striking Time stopping shortly after I first got it. The problem hasn't recurred since Lange fixed it.
Disc switching mechanism...
Discs sometimes get misaligned. Watches sometimes fail to tell the correct time completely when discs seize/stuck.
Interesting and thanks. I hadn't heard that before. I wonder if it still happens...
