Your not going to go wrong with either watch.......
I happen to agree with Fx though and would go with the WG perpetual. The Zeitwork has become an instant classic for Lange in WG but is way less diverse when compared to the perpetual IMO. Good luck with your decision, your going to be very happy either way!

Dear All; I have owned a Lange 1 MP in RG and 1815 Chrono in WG; looking to acquire my 3rd piece and seek advice form esteemed colleagues here. Seriously looking to acquire a Zeitwerk in WG or a Langematik Perpetual calendar Pt. Zietwerk seems a very inte...
I agree with Nicolas.

I would go first to the PC... and maybe not the PT version but this stunning WG version with the black dial... believe me, this watch is gorgeous! The Zeitwerk has a superb movement and manages to combine classicism with originality. The digital display h...

Personally, I would go for the Zeitwerk It is so different; unique in a good way The Langematik Perpetual is nice, and the movement is excellent to be sure, but I never have thought Lange nailed it in the design of that piece...it just looks a bit too ord...

And my opinion is as follows : Langematik perpetual - I like the plat version best (but found the wg version, with the totally white leap yr indicator against the black dial, abit distracting) - perfect size, classic look couple with the modern big date -...

By: abe : April 10th, 2015-18:50
Thanks for ALL the highly informative replies; its much appreciated. I have been leaning towards the Zeitwerk since I already own a PP 5205R (AC) and 5159R (PC, retrograde); although have not ruled out Langematik Perpetual; I am also somewhat put off by t...
The Zeitwerk is a fantastic watch
By: ninolitaliano : April 11th, 2015-04:17
and if its diameter 41,9 suits me perfectly, i was annoyed by its height 12,6. As FX, Nicolas, Yming, TonyR, i prefer the Langematik perpetual and then the dial of this watch is available in German, French, Italian, Spanish and same in English for you. Bu...
i would agree with this

you are about to spend a $50k+ on a watch. The least you have to do is to see this in person. I saw a Zeitwerk striking time in Dubai. I wore a WG langematik PC in Hong Kong. I went with the PC since I don't have a PC yet in my collection. You already hav...
Perfectly stated

Plan on getting both, but go with the one which adds the most utility to your current collection. I was in a similar situation in liking both the Zw and Langematik Perpetual, both case sizes were good and had complications which captivated me. In the end,...
Thank you all!

I got tremendous insight and help from this thread; I realize that I definitely need to be able to see and feel the Zeitwerk in metal and then be able to decide! 2 major ADs that I called up in NYC did not have any in stock; one said he is not getting any...

I must've just drew a blank that day. Moonphase! Thanks drgiggles! I agree, the two watches are very different from another. I personally prefer the ZW. But I have to admit, that it's not a watch that I can recommend without reservations to someone else.....
