I would go for the PC. Because I am not very fan of the digital display of time, which reminds me the good old electric clocks. ;)

Personally, I would go for the Zeitwerk It is so different; unique in a good way The Langematik Perpetual is nice, and the movement is excellent to be sure, but I never have thought Lange nailed it in the design of that piece...it just looks a bit too ord... 

And my opinion is as follows : Langematik perpetual - I like the plat version best (but found the wg version, with the totally white leap yr indicator against the black dial, abit distracting) - perfect size, classic look couple with the modern big date -...

I happen to agree with Fx though and would go with the WG perpetual. The Zeitwork has become an instant classic for Lange in WG but is way less diverse when compared to the perpetual IMO. Good luck with your decision, your going to be very happy either wa...

There's the look, the feel, the size, the experience of winding and setting, and most importantly how you feel. With the prices involved, I think a flight to another city or even another continent is justified to see them both. As a bonus, you get the jou...

Plan on getting both, but go with the one which adds the most utility to your current collection. I was in a similar situation in liking both the Zw and Langematik Perpetual, both case sizes were good and had complications which captivated me. In the end,...  

I got tremendous insight and help from this thread; I realize that I definitely need to be able to see and feel the Zeitwerk in metal and then be able to decide! 2 major ADs that I called up in NYC did not have any in stock; one said he is not getting any... 

For the 3rd Lange, I prefer a unique one.

This strikes me as an odd question because the watches are extremely different. i'd echo the earlier suggestion of looking at the perpetual in WG (i'm assuming you prefer the black background on the ZW, woudl make sense to look at the PC in WG which i als... 

I must've just drew a blank that day. Moonphase! Thanks drgiggles! I agree, the two watches are very different from another. I personally prefer the ZW. But I have to admit, that it's not a watch that I can recommend without reservations to someone else..... 

I'm curious, what are the specific Zeitwerk reliability problems that you've experienced or heard about? I did have an issue with the Striking Time stopping shortly after I first got it. The problem hasn't recurred since Lange fixed it.

Discs sometimes get misaligned. Watches sometimes fail to tell the correct time completely when discs seize/stuck.

... or if it was a problem with the earlier models that is now fixed.
